卜維廉中學為培養學生的自律、自信和自主學習，課程設計多元化，與職業訓練局合辦西式食品製作、酒店營運和職業英語應用學習課程。另設「Happy Wednesday afternoon programme」，內容涵蓋體藝、生涯規劃和聯課活動，豐富學生學習經歷。
In a view to nurturing students’ self-discipline, confidence and self-directed learning, the school has co-organised Western Cuisine, Hotel Operations and Vocational English Courses with Vocational Training Council(VTC). “Happy Wednesday afternoon programme” is also featured covering aesthetic and physical activities, life planning and co-curricular activities to enrich students’ learning experiences.

本校為新地單車學院訓練中心，邀請得世界冠軍李慧詩和黃金寶到校獻技；單車隊在多項比賽中屢奪殊榮。
The SHKP Cycling Academy Training Centre has been established in the school since 15th December 2021. On that day, Hong Kong cycling legend Wong Kam-po and World-champion track cyclist Sarah Lee Wai-sze were invited to the school and showed their excellent performance. The School Cycling Team has won numerous awards in various competitions.
卜維廉中學以學生為本，配合多元校本課程、豐富聯課活動、廣泛的自學和長假期閱讀計劃，令本校文憑試增值成績高於全港中學。每年皆有學生獲獎學金入讀港大、中大和科大。
Implementing a student-centred approach, together with the multi-faceted school-based curriculum and a wide range of co-curricular activities, as well as extensive self-learning and holiday reading programmes, the school receives higher positive value-added performance of the public examination results compared to all schools in Hong Kong. Every year, there are students receiving scholarships to be admitted to the University of Hong Kong, the Chinese University of Hong Kong and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
